Force Legato In Logic Pro X
Sometimes when you’ve played in a monophonic lead line, or a polyphonic chord progression, you want to be able to fill the gaps inbetween.
After quantization, highlight all of your notes in the piano roll, click Edit > Trim > Note End to Following Notes (Force Legato).
Your MIDI will now automatically extend and end at the point in which the next note begins. As a result, saving you the manual tediousness of adjusting the length of notes to fill in empty spaces.
